Gray Eyes

Gray is the prompt of the day

And gray is the way I feel today!

Ha! Why, is a question I ask myself too

If I cannot answer the question, then who???

I know, I know and I’ve known I know

But where does one that crown bestow?

A head full of gray?

At office, a bad day?

A friend who does betray?

Or a combo as they say today?

Gray head, heavy with unlived years…

Gray eyes, bright with unshed tears….

Gray skies, heavy with  clouds menacing ..

Gray tmrw,  pray what will you bring???

Quite good. I feel a bit grey myself 😉. The sunshine’s gone and it’s cold . Sigh

Love this poem, Aruna. Lovely rhyming throughout and it also speaks of something a lot of us go through – going through the challenging days. I do feel grey head when I am having a long day at the office, or when things don’t seem to go right in the office. Or when I don’t get a good night’s sleep 😀 Hope your day wasn’t too grey and it got better 🙂

Strikes a chord on some days….
Believe in the sunshine of life, may you overcome your grey moments with speed and ease
