Was I Climbing or was I slipping

Was I loving or was I possessing

Was I a friend or was I just a shrew

Were you a habit I never outgrew?

Wish I had a sign, how I wish I knew

Was it my fault or did you have a few

Was I climbing, aspiring to too high a summit

Or Was I climbing, only to just plummet from it!
