My Superhero for..

all Seasons…

N all reasons…

There I was pretty as a picture,

Chiffon and pearls,a lovely mixture.

My favorite hero was spouting poetry in perfect meter

I was his muse, his passion, his love, his raison d’etre.

Mesmerized and Mesmerizing at once

My heart was doing  its own little dance.

The Baritone was the voice of my dreams – to die for

The gaze was loving and scorching  – one to live for!

The movie – Silsila with my all time  favorite, Amitabh Bachchan. The role Rekha’s – where passion and love met longing and yearning. Lovers separated by duty and destiny meet again after marriage to discover that some flames never die .. they just remain deep within you.

Am not fond of the ending and so if I was the script writer,  the lovers would have triumphed!
