Ah, what a prompt!!

A Mis-Take, no less !!

Well, where do I begin

The ones that I made

unknowingly, unwittingly

But once discovered, roundly

punished??

Or the ones I made

knowingly , wittingly

But yet undiscovered n

unpunished??

The ones that were set

right by me

Or the ones I’m powerless

to ever put right??

The innocent ones

Long forgotten

Or the wilful ones

That still haunt??

Mistakes make one fallible

Does repentance

Make one less responsible ??

Mistakes are a plenty

Does remorse

Make me less guilty?
