The crisp morning air,
The slow breaking dawn,
The tiny little Dew Drops,
Glistening in anticipation
Life giving green leaves,
Brilliant bright petals,
Red, Yellow and Aquamarine blue
Covered by the tiny shiny Dew Drops…
Raise their faces to the glowing Sun
Alas
A thoughtless hand,
A swishing skirt,
A hurrying foot,
A careless wand
Brushes the dewdrops away
Unsung n yet unborn
The eager lil Dewdrops
Stilled before life began…..

Nice poem. I love to get up early to watch the sun rise and walk through the dew saturated grass.

A lovely tribute to often-neglected joie de vivre.

Beautiful thoughts. Yes. Those little moments that may matter are so casually brushed off in the rush of life.
