Layers and layers of masks you wear

Oh Human mind, how many can I tear ??

Sometimes so loving sometimes so giving

Sometimes so cruel sometimes so unforgiving..

Sometimes so playful and full of joy

Yet

Sometimes so artful and just a ploy..

Sometimes so humbling and so exhilarating

But

Sometimes so demeaning and so depressing…..

Sometimes so enriching and sometimes so elevating

Yet

Sometimes so sapping and sometimes so deflating

Sometimes so empowering and so faithful

But

Sometimes so disappointing and so disloyal…

Layers and layers of masks you wear
