CHAOS is today’s Daily Prompt :

 

Was there anything ever created

more chaotic than the human mind? 

Or  perhaps  I mean to say”MY ” own mind? 

Delving deep, ripples  of swirling waters I find.

** 

Multitasking being my first, middle and my last name 

I find a thousand thoughts playing a “me-first” game!!

**

 Whats the doggies breakfast , for today ? 

Whats the first case on the OT List, pray? 

As the blender with my smoothie goes Vrroom 

I wonder whats the report from the Labor Room?

**

Was today the last day for sending that application 

What was the topic today at the academic session?

Am I a good mother, a good friend,  a good wife?

Have I missed out something  with all the strife?

**

There’s no end in sight to the chain reaction…

 as thoughts and more thoughts jostle for attention…

CHAOS, thy name is a  Multitasking woman’s mind

As shadows lengthen, bless it now for peace to find….

AMEN!!

    I can understand what’s must be going through your mind while jotting down this poem. Hope you are settled in a new place, new appointment and new house.

        Good evening. As of now no such plans for Mumbai. Kanishk has just left after spending his summer break so may be next month.
