A Touch

I have got  back to blogging after a self imposed sabbatical of almost 13 months and decided to start with a little push a random  Daily Prompt  The Power of Touch

Touch, a Sense so powerful, it evokes  a sigh,

A thousand “feels”  flit across the  mind’s eye ..

The feel of my lips on my baby’s skin

The feel of my mother’s  hand in mine

The feel of an yellowed well thumbed book,

The feel of my heartbeat on His searing look….

The feel of  tiny dewdrops in the rising sun,

The feel of nudging waves in the setting sun..

The feel of water trickling down a thirsty throat

The feel of tears stinging behind a smiling emote…

These are but a chosen few of my favorite feels

Listing  them all would need eons of soul -peels!!

Sometimes that is all we can do-deal with life events and make the best out of them. Or, if no best can be made…we just learn to accept it and find peace like you said. I hope it comes to you as quick as possible. Best wishes.

Welcome back!! Sharing emotions is therapeutic. A touch can be magical and miraculous and says more than a million words.
